Siberian Federal University

SFU's Institute of Physics and Technology has been renamed the Research Centre of Innovative Technology. The Centre will develop innovative projects and involve students in research activities. The Centre's kea areas of studies are:

• basic research in condensed matter physics, space physics, detonation physics;
• applied research in space technology, geophysics, composition materials, electrical contact materials, advanced aluminium production processes and nanomaterials;
• research in intellectual property, management in innovative companies

The Director of the Research Centre of Innovative Technology is Professor Vladimir Kirko.
