On October 22, 2008 Vladimir Putin, the Chairman of the Russian Federation Government, visited Siberian Federal University.
SibFu's Rector Evgeny Vaganov presented the exposition of the general layout of the future University Campus, spoke about strategic building of campus units, hostels, library, apartments for faculty and staff. The Prime Minister and the Rector discussed realization of the SibFU development program, acquisition of technics and enlargement of laboratory equipment, new methods of education and cooperation with economic clusters of Krasnoyarsk Territory for which SibFU trains highly qualified professionals providing the Governor’s programs of the Territory development.
Vladimir Putin visited student’s lectures at the Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics.
