Siberian Federal University

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation organized the Russian National Exhibition which took place in “Inter Expo Center”, Sofia, Bulgaria from October 8 to October 12, 2008. Siberian Federal University was represented by Professor Yury S. Grigoryev, Head of the Chair of Environmental Toxicology and Microbiology, Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies of Siberian Federal University and Alexander A. Andreyev, the university's faculty member. They presented their research, equipment and methods for environmental monitoring.
The exhibition programme included round table discussions and seminars on the key issues of economic cooperation, information security, development of tourism and cultural exchanges.
Professor Grigoryev and Dr Andreev visited Sofia University where they met Dr. Bozhidar Galutsov, Dean, Department of Biology, Yana Topalova, Head of the Chair of General and Applied Hydrobiology and Vasily Goltsev, Head of the Biophysics and Radiobiology Chair.
