Vladimir Mukusyev, the legendary television presenter of the “Vzglyad” TV programme, will visit Siberian Federal University from December 15 till December 19, 2008. The famous journalist was invited to Krasnoyarsk by the Institute of Philology and Language Communication of Siberian Federal University.
Vladimir Mukusyev will read a lecture course named “Journalism and power” to the students of the Institute of Philology and Language Communication and will hold a number of master classes on the topical problems of TV journalism.
Not long ago Vladimir Solovyev, the famous journalist, also held a master class at Siberian Federal University. Total 60 visiting professors from Universities of Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Scotland etc. and over 190 visiting professors from leading Russian Universities and Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences have visited our University this year.
Vladimir Mukusyev is PhD in Political Science. He used to be the Member of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation. Starting 1977 he had been an editor, a correspondent, a commentator, the chief issuer of the Main Editing Office of the Youth Programmes of the USSR State Television and Radio Center and a television presenter of TV link-ups with the USA. During the period from 1987 till 1990 he had been the chief issuer and television presenter of the “Vzglyad” TV programme. Starting 1992 he has been the Director General of the “Ostankino”, Russian State Television and Radio Company. Vladimir Mukusyev is the first Soviet journalist who was awarded with the Emmy prize (television analogue of the Oscar prize).
