Seven SibFU Professors are laureates of Krasnoyarsk Mayor Prize!

Seven SibFU Professors were invited to the 7th Professorial Ball which was held on the 14th of January, 2009 in the International Convention and Exhibition Centre «Siberia».

On the Event, Professors were awarded with Krasnoyarsk Mayor Prize for a major contribution to the city development in 2008 and outstanding achievements in the field of science, education and culture. Peter Pimashkov, Krasnoyarsk Mayor personally presented Prizes to the best Professors.

    Siberian Federal University was represented by:

  1. Sergey V. Kachin, Professor, Doctor of Chemistry, Head of SibFU Multiple Access Centre «High-tech methods of research and analysis of new materials, nano-materials and mineral raw materials», honorary scholar of Russian Institution of Higher Education.
  2. Alexander M. Kytmanov, Professor, Doctor of Science, Head of SibFU Institute of Mathematics, honorary scholar of Russian Institution of Higher Education.
  3. Anatoly M. Sazonov, Professor, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Science, honored geologist of the Russian Federation.
  4. Anatoly I. Ruban, Professor, Doctor of Engineering Science, Head of the SibFU Department of Informatics, honored scientist of the Russian Federation.
  5. Vladimir I. Kokorin, Professor of SibFU Department of Radio Technology, Head of R&D establishment «Radio Technology», honored inventor of the Russian Federation.
  6. Oleg K. Ampilogov, Professor, Head of the Department of Painting and Sculpture of SibFU Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics, member of the Artists’ Union.
  7. Yury A. Zhuravlev, Professor, Doctor of Science, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance of SibFU Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics, honorary scholar of Russian Institution of Higher Education.
