The solemn ceremony of certificate distribution to the participants of the seminar called «Scenario workshop for authors of documentary films» was held on the 13th of February, 2009 in Siberian Federal University. The seminar was organized on the basis of SibFU. It united the participants from Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Bratsk and Barnaul. After the seminar, all the participants made a deep analysis of their project and prepared the real scenario of a documentary film.

Visitors from France i.e. the tutors of would-be directors accomplished the honorable duty of certificate distribution to the participants of the seminar: Helen Shatelen, the honoured worker of theatre and cinema of France, the great-grandchild of А. Ostrovskiy, the famous Russian dramatist, Kristof Pastik, the art director and supervisor of State Documentary film Centre in LUSSAS, Robin Dimet, the director-producer.

Visitors from France held a briefing after the certificate distribution. They summarized three-week seminar, told about prospects for cooperation with Siberian Federal University. Organizers promised to hold the third seminar this autumn devoted to editing and recording problems in documentary films. In the run-up to the France’s year in Russia and Russia’s year in France, Siberian Federal University and France embassy in the Russian Federation are expected to sign an agreement of mutual cooperation. «French documentaries hour on SibFU-TV» would be organized in terms of the agreement mentioned above.
