The international project seminar «Generation-2020» was held on 23-25th of February in Siberian Federal University. The project attracted attention of representatives of the highest level of power, economists and business people of Krasnoyarsk Region. Within the framework of the seminar, the best representatives of studentship formed the youth agenda in economics area for the nearest future.
Under the supervision of 2 moderators-economists (Aleksey Sitnikov and Konstantin Sonin, representatives of Russian economic school, Moscow), 17 Russian and foreign students from the whole Russia and different foreign countries (the USA, Canada, Slovakia, Chad, Benin, Iran) were the first who had the opportunity to learn official report of the VI Krasnoyarsk economic forum. Students formulated their version of Russian development up to 2020 and presented it on the plenary meeting of the VI Krasnoyarsk economic forum which had been held in the format of «brainstorming».
The final document was drawn up after the youth session of KEF which had been held on the 26th of February, 2009 in the International Exhibition and Business Center «Siberia». The youth session was the opening plenary meeting of the forum. Participants of the project seminar submitted 4 presentations concerning actual economic problems to approval of Krasnoyarsk studentship. Six teams of leading Krasnoyarsk higher education institutions took part in heated debates and contributed to formulation of the final economic manifest of the youth generation. Moreover, A.G. Khloponin, Governor of Krasnoyarsk Region, Vladimir I. Kolmakov, Provost and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research of SibFU, Deputies of Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Region, representatives of the Government of Krasnoyarsk Region, business communities of city and region participated in the Event.
Ladyzhenko Sergey, student of the Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies of SibFU, the best project’s participant presented the final manifest of the youth generation on the 27th of February, 2009 on the first «brainstorming» session of the VI Krasnoyarsk economic forum.
Siberian Federal University, Government of Krasnoyarsk Region and Russian economic school (Moscow) organized the seminar. According to participants’ opinion, the seminar preparation was on a higher level. We are convinced that all the participants of the seminar had a store of ultimate impressions about Siberian Federal University and Krasnoyarsk.
Project «Generation-2020» was decided to be continued on approval of A.G. Khloponin, Governor of Krasnoyarsk Region. We are positive that this project will help SibFU students to achieve full potential because they will play a crucial part in geopolitics of the RF in 2020.
