Students and post-graduate students of SibFU Polytechnic Institute achieved great results at the XVth International Science and Technology Conference for Students and PG students «Radiotechnics, Electric Engineering and Energetics» annually held in the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University).

Konstantin Mikhailov, PG student of Electrotechnics Department took the first place in the section called «Industry Electro Heat Installations». He made a report «Possibilities of Upgrading Efficiency of Non-ferrous Metals Inductive Heating».

Vitaliy Goremykin, 4-year student of Electromechanic Department of the SibFU Polytechnic Institute got the second place in the section « Electrotechnic and Electromechanic Systems and Complexes». He made a report «Magnetic Properties of Ferromagnetic Materials in the Laboratory Unit».

Anton Avdulov, 3-year student of Electromechanic Department of the SibFU Polytechnic Institute and Vladimir Neverov, PG student of Electrotechnics Department were awarded with the certificates of honour.

Reports presented at the Conference were considered to be innovative and perspective. SibFU students showed a good command of up-to-date computer systems (ANSYS, MatLab) referred to mathematic modeling. The chairman of expert committee pointed out that students and PG students of Siberian Federal University are making very important inventive work.
