Delegation of the Russian Academy of Education headed by Nikolai Nikandrov, President of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor and Doctor of Education visited Siberian Federal University on June 5, 2009. The delegation consisted of the representatives of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Education from Tomsk, Omsk and Novosibirsk.

Within the framework of the first official visit to Krasnoyarsk, Nikolai Nikandrov took part in the conference devoted to the issues of spiritual and moral development. He also visited a number of educational institutions and signed an agreement on cooperation between the Russian Academy of Education and Siberian Federal University.

The agreement on cooperation aims at collaborating in terms of innovative and educational programmes development, cooperation in fundamental and applied research and organization of the joint scientific events.
