By the Russian Federation Presidential Edict No 1262 of 10 November 2009 «On State Prize Awarding», Aleksey N. Tarbagaev, the SibFU professor, Head of the Criminal Law Faculty was bestowed with a title of the Honoured Jurist of the Russian Federation for significant contribution to the legal sciences and professional training.
