Siberian Center for Environment Research and Training (SCERT) together with the Institute for Numerical Mathematics RAS (INM), Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems SB RAS (IMCES), Siberian Federal University and Institute of Computational Modeling (ICM) SB RAS with the support of the Asia Pacific Network held the eleven-day scientific educational action comprising International Young Scientists School on Computational Information Technologies for Environmental Sciences (CITES-2009) with the International Conference devoted to the same theme on July 5-15, 2009.

The Conference was held on July 1-7, 2009 in Siberian Federal University. The objective of the Conference was to provide a multidisciplinary forum for all aspects of research pertinent to understanding the supply, demand and allocation of the Earth's natural resources. The main conference topics focused on environmental issues concerning climatic changes.

The presentation of corporate identity of Siberian Federal University was held in the entrance hall of the university block «А» of the SibFU Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics (Svobodny Av. 82 А) on December 19, 2008 at 10.00 a.m.
